| KiTe MoDe releases "Stand Up"KiTe MoDe sings about the United States Marine Corps.
By: A & R Select In 2001, Eric McIntyre created a new word with a unique definition; “kite mode”. It’s defined as forward elevation. This term is used to represent the next level of any person, place, thing, idea, or quality. Long before, Eric started writing and recording music for fun with his long time friend and producer Michael "Mike MizzLe" Wheaton. From June 2006 until June 2010, Eric was overseas serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. But the music never stopped. Mike asked Eric to be his manager upon his release from duty. KiTe MoDe's new single, “Stand Up”, which features Tom Johnz and produced by Mike MizzLe, is off of the new LP, “Stadium Status”. Eric is the self-proclaimed ‘undisputed best flow-er of all time in the history of hip-hop’ and he’s right on target with that statement. This new single, which has been released in three versions--rap, instrumental, and radio mix--, is a perfect example of his versatility (or variation on a theme). KiTe MoDe PRoDUCTIoNS has entered the rap arena with guns blazin’. This song, in all three versions, has a true rap feel to it. Its tempo is slow and smooth; the lyrics are catchy with plenty of drama layered in. This song's reference has to do with Eric's time in the Marines. While in the Marines, he witnessed the authority of a superior officer. When they approach, you have to stand up and salute. This single was released through TuneCore.com to all major digital distribution channels worldwide this past June (2010). Eric released several mixtapes and Mike has worked with several major and underground artists at the HitFactory in Miami with his Cash Money Records affiliates. This single is just a taste of what KiTe MoDe PRoDUCTIoNS has in store. Their new, fresh sound of hip hop and rap via the talents of Eric McIntyre, are a breath of fresh air in this music industry. “Stand Up” was picked by DJ Green Lantern for his Dirty Invasion Vol #1 mixtape in July, 2010, while he was on tour with Nas and Damien Marley. KiTe MoDe PRoDUCTIoNS is currently working with A & R Select in West Hollywood, CA for licensing, a record deal, publishing and/or placement opportunities.
