University of San Diego now Featured on IHaveClass Blog

Sept. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Now that the blog for college students IHaveClass is starting out, they are gathering information related to colleges in California to provide students in colleges and universities across the Golden State with a home for the latest news, events, information, and articles for their particular college or university.  Future blog posts on IHaveClass (http://www.IHaveClass.com) will provide articles, news stories, jokes, viral videos, study tips, and anything else to help college students in California get through the school year at the head of their classes while still keeping their mind fresh with a relaxing environment to waste time between classes and studying.

The University of San Diego section of IHaveClass will eventually provide Toreros young and old with reliable and dependable information about their school, the campus, and events happening in San Diego throughout the year.  The first blog post for the University of San Diego (http://ihaveclass.com/university-san-diego-nutshell-ihaveclass/) features campus amenities such as free on campus museums and arboretums, discusses Greek life and student organizations, along with many varied academic disciplines offered by the six major schools contained within the university itself.  The schools architectural style hearkens back to the 16th century Spanish Renaissance era, best exemplified by the famous Immaculate Parish Church on the USD grounds. Many famous individuals have donated generous gifts to the university further establishing it as a proving ground for young academics. Chief among them are weight loss tycoon Jenny Craig and philanthropist Joan Kroc, of the world famous McDonalds empire, whose contributions to the USD Institute for Peace and Justice created programs that advance scholarship and practice in conflict resolution and human rights.
