Xeltek is the manufacturer of SuperPro universal programmer devices. The company’s headquarters is in Sunnyvale, CA and the main manufacturing facilities take place in Nanjing, China, with a small branch in Seoul, Korea to support R&D projects.
Xeltek was first founded in Korea in 1985 under the name Zeus and in 1991, moved to Silicon Valley, CA with the new title: Xeltek. The first programmer device that was manufactured by Xeltek was UniPro; since then, Xeltek has managed to develop over 32 different device programmer.
Xeltek was the first programmer manufacturer to bring the term “Stand-Alone” programmers to the universal programmer industry. Stand-alone programming is an application that allows the user to compile supported IC devices on a PC-independent platform through the help of an LCD screen that is mounted on a programming unit. Xeltek has been offering this mode since August 2000 with the launch of the SuperPro 2000 Universal Device Programmer.
