The Orphek LED reef aquarium light is the only LED light designed to illuminate reef tanks deeper than 24”.  Excellent PAR can be achieved at 48” so there is finally an LED solution to your 400w halide bulbs!

LED’s still produce 70% of their original output after over 10 years of use, so no bulb replacements required!  Additionally, no radiant heat is produced by our lights, and they will not raise the aquarium temperature more than two degrees Celsius above the room temperature!


The Orphek PR-156 is a high-intensity reef aquarium LED light designed to replace high wattage metal halide bulbs, and features a remote power supply with dual electronic timer control.  The LEDs are custom designed by our engineers in Israel, are patent pending, and produce an improved color spectrum and rendition than the typical Cree white/blue combination used in other aquarium LED lights. Designed with resistant aluminum and acrylic materials, the light is completely sealed and water resistant.
