PRODUCT UPDATE - CallClerk Caller ID Software v4.0 released - now supporting community call blocking

Rob Latour announced this week a major update to CallClerk, a software program specially designed to keep you in touch with who has called you on the phone. This latest release adds call blocking based on community feedback on nuisance callers.

Sept. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- While you’re on the road, CallClerk can let you know in seconds that someone has phoned your land line by e-mailing you with the caller information, plus a recorded message or fax if one was left.

This is ideal for people working away from the home, or small business supporting clients after hours.

CallClerk can ignore or, if you prefer, even auto-hang up on unwanted calls; it can also even play a record message instructing a blocked caller not to call again - Good Bye Telemarketers!

Additionally, with each call the program can automatically update your own password protected web site with your call history and directory information - allowing you access to your call information from virtually anywhere in the world.

While at your computer, CallClerk can let you know who’s calling by having a picture appear alongside caller id information on your computer screen.  You can also hear who's calling by having a computerized voice announce the name/number and by having CallClerk sound a distinctive ring.

Additionally the program provides automatic linking to up to up to three internet search/reverse phone number look up services of your choice.  It can also run other programs, batch or script files when a call comes in.  If you are a user of Outlook, CallClerk can pop-up the Outlook contact card for the caller.

CallClerk keeps a printable directory and history log of all calls received and placed by CallClerk.

CallClerk with Windows 7, Vista and XP PCs having a broadband internet connection and a phone tapi voice modem that supports caller id.  To get the most out of the product, you need to subscribe to a caller id service from your phone company.
