Memorial Service And Press Conference Regarding Bakersfield Doctor Dying In Chimney

The memorial service for Dr. Kotarac is open to friends, family and well-wishers of the public, and will begin at 3 pm at The Goddess Temple of Orange County, the church of Marcia Carillo, the sister of the deceased. The memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Ava Park, the Founder and Presiding Priestess of the Temple. The Temple is located at 17905 Sky Park Circle, Suite A, Irvine, CA 92614.

Press Conference Sunday, 5:30 pm, Irvine, CA (same location)
Following the memorial service, a press conference will be held at 5:30 pm at the same location, to announce sister Carillo’s interest in and plans related to investigating reform of the current laws pertaining to missing persons and the lack of timely response by the authorities. Rev. Ava will also make a statement about public response in the aftermath of this tragedy; some persons have behaved with shocking insensitivity during this tragic time, using the unusual nature of the case to poke fun while a family suffers.

The press conference is open to all members of the press. There will be an open question and answer period for the press to ask direct questions of Ms. Carillo.
