Chacha Design proud to be part of the success of FUSE Arts Festival

Chacha's engagement of youth audience at concept stage and involving them in design process proves vital for success of FUSE event.
 
Sept. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Chacha were commissioned to project manage as well as produce branding, marketing collateral, web site and signage for FUSE Arts Festival. Aimed at young people, aged between 13-19, FUSE introduced and encouraged engagement in a multitude of creative and artistic platforms.  

During the design development process, workshops with a teenage focus group ensured our work had engagement with the target audience.  The leading ideas were shortlisted by the group from a wide pool of initial concepts. Strong colours, bold typography and illustration were the key elements striking a chord with the young people – these were combined to create a brand that they felt an affinity with, and were proud to be a part of. The branding was colourful, eye catching and cohesive.

FUSE was London’s most ambitious one-day free arts festival designed with and for young people, and organised by The Royal Parks. Thirty-five of London’s most prestigious arts organisations from across the London boroughs of Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea offered performances, theatre workshops, dance classes, and art classes on a number of stages and marquees in Kensington Gardens, on July 25th, 2010.
Our client, The Royal Parks, estimate that 5,000 people attended FUSE over the course of the day, making it a great success.

Feedback from participants was unequivocally positive and almost certainly ensures a repeat festival next year.

Chacha Design were extremely happy with the the design development process, and the subsequent outcome. Engaging with the target audience at initial concept stage not only aided the creative process, but also ensured the group felt part of the event.
