Dr Ira L  Shapira is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a pioneer in the field.  Dr Blatchford traveled to Chicago to learn Dental Sleep Medicine from Dr Shapira.  She is looking forward to helping patients who do not tolerate CPAP or who want a comfortable alternative to CPAP.

Dr. Blatchford is a graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University, School
of Dentistry and has her doctorate degree in medical dentistry. She has a
general dental practice in Milwaukie, Oregon, which has a focus on
cosmetic dentistry.  She has a passion for providing excellent care, and
to that end, continuing her dental education.  She started her advanced
training at the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry and also at the
Kois Center.

She has been a part of volunteer dentistry expeditions to Mexico with
Northwest Medical Teams, and looks forward to continuing this with her
father, who is also a dentist. Dr. Blatchford's favorite aspect of
dentistry is getting to know and spending time with patients.
