Seasoned Jewelry Designer Now Offers Unique Handcrafted Jewelry in Milwaukee

Aug. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- MILWAUKEE, August 26, 2010 - Local Jewelry Designer, Mrs. Josephine Vargas, once started creating masterful sets of jewelry in her home of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico.  She has recently decided to take her passion of selling jewelry public by selling some of her beautiful arrangements to our local market.  Not sure where to get started, Vargas found help from Milwaukee Multicultural Entrepreneurial Institute (MEI).

Vargas is a recent graduate of the MEI and Social Development Commission’s (SDC) Small Business Entrepreneurial Program for entrepreneurs and emerging enterprises in Milwaukee County. The initiative was funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and it is the largest award provided by SDC under the Act. Josephine stated “I am forever grateful to the SDC and the Multicultural Entrepreneurial Institute for making my dream of owning a jewelry business come true.  And also forever grateful to Mr. Nelson Soler and his staff.”

Unique, handcrafted, custom made jewelry from Jossie’s Custom Jewelry gives one the pleasure of choosing from a wide variety of hand made, unique jewelry that will become a part of you and your family.   Vargas loves making Bridal Jewelry and is capable of providing unique handcrafted jewelry that people desire at the price levels that many are comfortable with, typically $25 - $45 for a set including a necklace, earrings and matching bracelets in addition, she also makes chokers and bracelets for men.

Owned and operated by Mrs. Josephine Vargas, Jossie’s Custom Jewelry has a mission to "Contribute To The Beauty Of A Woman” and has been creating custom jewelry for over 20 years.  Her passion is designing custom jewelry for many occasions such as weddings, formal events and Quinceañeras (Sweet 16’s).  Mrs. Vargas can design custom jewelry based on input from her customers or they can choose from a wide variety of her unique designs.  All of her items are handcrafted by herself.   Josephine Vargas was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, educated in Puerto Rico and the United States.   She attended Medical School in New Jersey, has worked in hospitals in Puerto Rico and the United States, and was a Vista Volunteer for three years in Puerto Rico.
