Beau Nelson Interviews On Live Broadcast With Wayne Clingman of Indy Film Wisconsin

Aug. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Earlier this morning, Zombie Drugs star, Beau Nelson, interviewed on a live broadcast with film master, Wayne Clingman.  

Beau and Wayne talked about how Beau got started in the industry and what prompted him to make the move to Los Angeles.  Beau, a Wisconsin native, would take a 2 1/2 hour trek from Madison, WI to Chicago, IL for a 5-minute audition to turn around and head back home.  Eventually, Beau knew he loved the art and made the move to Los Angeles, the epicenter of Film and TV.

During their conversation, Beau and Wayne talked in depth about the technicalities of film making, including: distribution, securing funding, hiring a crew, casting and auditioning, marketing and choosing the right camera for your film.  Distribution and securing funding became top topics prompted from a 3rd party caller.

Zombie Drugs was written and directed by Alex Ballar.  Alex and Beau, of Manginity Films teamed up with the production companies, Kearns and Mariande Films and Grizzly Peak Films to create a hilarious comedy with zombies slated to hit theaters just in time for Halloween.

Wayne Clingman runs Indy Film Wisconsin, a Podcast (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/icflm) that highlights the New Now and those who help make that happen.  He has many years of involvement in the film industry and previously ran a film festival in Wisconsin.  He's a master of film making and speaks very intelligently about the film making process.
