AccessData Releases Summation CaseVantage 6

Aug. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- LINDON, UTAH — Today, AccessData announced the release of AD Summation CaseVantage 6. CaseVantage is an in-house, web-based review platform that can support litigation containing millions of documents and hundreds of users across multiple matters. No matter how large or dispersed the review team, users can search, annotate and produce scanned image and native fileswhile precisely controlling each individual’s access to the case.

Version 6 introduces a variety of enhancements, including near-duplicate analysis, email threading, a tagging discrepancy dashboard and enhanced search capabilities, including concept and faceted searching. This release is the first of several updates to the AD Summation product portfolio, due out by 2011.

Near-Duplicate Analysis
•   View documents grouped by content.
•   Compare documents side-by-side to identify near-duplicates.
•   Batch tag or group cull similar documents.

Email Threading
•   View an entire email string or conversation together on one screen without having to cycle through each individual message.
•   Assign whole email strings to the reviewer for batch tagging or foldering.

Enhanced Search Capabilities
•   Concept Search auto-expands search terms with system-generated synonyms.
•   Faceted Search applies filters to search results, refining the product of the search.
•   Match Rank sorts search results by order of relevancy to search terms and allows the reviewer begin with the most relevant documents first.
•   The Expand Search Results command captures near-duplicates and/or email threads in the result, even if individual members of the set did not match the original search terms.

Tagging Discrepancy Dashboard
•   Checks review sets for tagging discrepancies. Reviewer can jump directly from dashboard to document viewer and revise tagging as necessary.
•   Makes QA quick and accurate, improves future search results, and lessens the chance of unwanted documents being produced.
