Electro band Standing Shadows will be performing at the historic Molly Malones on Friday, August 20, 2010. The group consists of David Miltenberger, lead vocalist/guitarist, Dan Silver, lead guitarist/vocals, Mike Greco, bassist/vocals and Michael Ascolese, drummer. This energetic alternative group will be sure to astound the audience with their uniquely genuine blend of pop sensibility mixed with unforgettable hooks, cerebral lyrics and a fiery performance to match. The seemingly misleading enigmatic philosophy behind their name Standing Shadows is actually a mantra of their artistry and what they hope their audience can gather from their music as explains Dave lead singer of the group and Dan, lead guitarist. “We are all standing shadows in a sense, we all have opinions and want to make a stand for something but we feel hidden in the shadows - working a 9 – 5 and feel like we have no say. We are not heard, we are only seen as a shadow and not even as human beings. This is what unites us all. There are no blurred lines between us- We Are The Human Race”
The performance starts at 11pm, doors open at 8:00pm. Admission is $8.00. Bring two people, mention Standing Shadows, and receive an official Standing Shadows T-shirt.
