Only TWO Sessions Left in the Second Annual Austin Publishing University

Aug. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Austin, TX - There are only two sessions left in the Second Annual Austin Publishing University presented by Greenleaf Book Group in conjunction with the independent bookseller BookPeople. The five-part series takes place every Sunday in August and educates aspiring authors on the publishing industry, book content and design, and book marketing—both off- and online.

The two remaining sessions of Austin Publishing University will take place Sunday, August 22, and Sunday, August 29, from 1–2:30 p.m. on the third floor of BookPeople. Sessions are $15 each. Tickets can be purchased in person including on the day of the event at BookPeople, located at 603 N. Lamar.

The remaining sessions will cover the following:
   
Session 4: Storming the Market—Marketing and promotion before, during, and after a book release.
Session 5: Take Control of the Internet—How to build an online platform.

Previous sessions focused on how publishing works, how to develop great content, and killer book designs.
