By: John Turtle The reConnect file from Equifax provides new addresses for people who have moved house, allowing clients to keep in touch with customers as they move. This service has previously only been available through data8’s data cleansing bureau, Antony Allen, managing director data8 said, “I'm pleased to announce that we are now one of the first data cleansing companies in the country to offer this service entirely online via our data cleansing website. “ The Royal Mail files replace the previous NCOA and USS files. NCOA Update fills the role performed by the old NCOA file by providing updated addresses for people that have moved house, while NCOA Suppress replaces the old USS file by identifying people who are no longer at their old address but for which a new address cannot be identified. Allen added, “Winning new customers is expensive therefore it is important to give our clients the ability keep track of any movers, clients will now receive a more comprehensive service, offering more matches online, as these files provide information on more home movers than the older files”. He continued “Clients don't need to do anything different to take advantage of these changes as they are incorporated within our standard data cleansing service”. # # # Data8 Ltd is the premier data enrichment specialist, ensuring customers completely trust their data.
