Uneek Collection Sponsors Detroit Fashion Week Launch Party at the Whitney Gardens Downtown Detroit

Sept. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- This year opening night will be held on Sunday, Septembr 19th at the Whitney Mansion known widely for it's Ghost Bar and beautiful garden. The theme of the event, Unexpekted, plays up the plan to finally give Detroit elements of fashion, art, and creativity that isn't normally seen. With the success of Uneek events in the past including its most recent Red Carpet event at Bookies which totaled over 500 patrons, collaborating with DFW is sure to make this event one not to be missed.

This Red Carpet event will bring together an all-star cast of sponsors, media and recognizable faces. Next, we will transition into the fashion segment of the event, which will include seasoned models preselected from Metro Detroit with the help of Brian Heath(director of Detroit Fashion Week) and will be featurIng the contemporary street apparel of Uneek Clothing. In addition, there will be a few other designers selected to grace the runway on this evening. We plan to compliment the amazing interior of the Whitney by adding a stylish runway for our fashion show on the first floor. Photographers and fashion enthusiasts will find our set up resembles that of a New York or Hollywood. The ambiance will definitely be like nothing ever seen at a Detroit event.

Opening up the evening will be entertainment from the Detroit Fly House, and a live singing performance from local sensation Lewis Hensley. After the fashion experience is complete, the party will begin with sounds from DJ CUE, DJ JINX, and DJ FATMAC. As the final touch of a beautiful night Uneek Collection will be unveiling its newly enhanced website, www.uneekcollection.com.
