Orlando set to host Central Florida’s first Natural Hair and Beauty Expo

Aug. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- For the first time in Central Florida, Chase Ford Productions is pleased to announce the Natural Hair and Beauty Expo, an event designed to educate, empower, and inspire individuals who have chosen to embrace a more natural approach to hair and beauty.

“With cities such as Altanta, Baltimore, and Philadelphia each holding annual events to celebrate and educate attendees on natural hair and skin care we feel Orlando has a large enough like-minded population to support a similar style event,” stated Natashia Ford, co-owner, Chase Ford Productions.

The Natural Hair and Beauty Expo boasts an all-star line-up of workshop presenters with topics ranging from healthy eating and skin care, transitioning to natural hair, how to use henna and clays in your beauty regimen, just to name a few. In addition to educational workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to shop and participate in product demonstrations during the vendor showcase. Companies that cater to natural hair and beauty are encouraged to exhibit as booths are reasonably priced with discounts offered to local and small businesses.

Although The Natural Hair and Beauty Expo will have similarities to other events held nationwide, this is the first event on record to include a non-profit partnership. A portion of the proceeds of The Natural Hair and Beauty Expo will benefit the 501c3 non-profit Sakile and its Peace and Beauty Project initiative.

“As this is the first of its’ kind event to take place in Central Florida we have appropriately referred to our expo as The Inception, stated Donna Chase Benton, co-owner, Chase Ford Productions, as this is just the beginning. We are looking to make this an annual event that will continue to grow year after year.”
