Anson Carter takes on Country like no other

Back in 2004, Anson Carter joined a band called The Emotions.  In 2007 they recorded ‘Whataburger #5’ and ‘This Beer’s All Ears’.  In 2008 he joined another band called Thythm Of The Road.  While with that band, he went to Nashville and had 3 other songs cut, “All Of The Above", "All About The Music” and “I Wanna See You Naked”.  In 2009 he released an EP which includes these three songs.

The lead single is “All Of The Above” which is from his debut EP Honky Tonk Therapy.  Its meaning is the reasons why you love her.  It’s never one reason why you love someone.  This EP takes you on a journey from meeting a girl (‘Whataburger #5’), to why you love her (‘All Of The Above’), what you like doing with your girl (‘I Wanna See You Naked’) to losing your girl and finding someone to listen to you (‘This Beer’s All Ears) – and when it’s all said and done (‘It’s All About The Music’).    It’s a story being told through glorious country music.  
 
“All Of The Above” has a top notch beat – a country rhythm that makes you want to get up and dance.  Vocals, harmony and that signature country guitar is perfectly arranged and performed.   It is extremely radio friendly with an air time of less than 2 minutes which makes it easy to squeeze it into any available air space.  What makes his music interesting is that you have chord switches mid stream.  He kicks it up or down a notch to great a true authentic country sound.    Yes, this is who Anson Carter is.  He’s a down home country guy who uses his music to nourish his country soul.  “It’s hard for me to be serious, even when I’m trying to be”, states Anson.  

Anson Carter has performed with The Dix Chicks, Neal McCoy, Kenny Chesney, Mark Chestnutt, Bellamy Brothers, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Kevin Fowler, Cory Morrow and the list goes on and on.  Yes, he’s that good.    He averages over 100 shows per year.  He is hoping to begin planning a tour soon.

Anson Carter is an honest, hard working, grounded guy.  He is humbled by the fans who want his signature.  But he does it for the fans of his music.  That’s what this is all about, isn’t it?
