Vast Array Launches a New Website for Blue Water Fishermen's Association

Aug. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Vast Array Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of an all-new website developed for Blue Water Fishermen's Association (BWFA).  The website, which replaces a previous site over five years old, encourages visitors to learn more about BWFA and the industry they represent, which is the U.S. North Atlantic commercial pelagic longline fishing industry, including seafood dealers and related suppliers.  Unlike BWFA's previous site, the new site is designed to be dynamic and expandable, and features a members-only section which is also designed to expand into a reference resource for members.

The search engine optimized website, built on the Drupal content management system framework, showcases BWFA's leadership in the recovery of the North Atlantic swordfish stock, as well as their cutting-edge research in reducing interaction with sea turtles.  From initial concept to launch, the project was completed in approximately six months.  Much of the time was spent researching, developing, and fine-tuning original text content for the site to best explain unfamiliar and industry-specific concepts in more easily understood terms.
