FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Washington DC IAHSPâ Chapter Announces the Recipient of the Charitable Project to benefit their efforts for World Wide Staging Services Week (WWSSWâ) with the IAHSP Foundationâ Thinks Globally & Acts Locally

U.S. Army Fisher House, 173 Stephens Sitter Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910 has agreed to be the recipient charity for this year’s services event in the Washington, DC area.

It is our pleasure for seven days, from September 12 through 19, 2010 Washington DC IAHSP through the efforts of members of the local chapter as volunteers, to provide and participate in the cooperative group effort to complete Painting, Fixture Upgrades, Replace Furniture and Custom Staging of the commonly used areas of the facility.

All of our IAHSP Members worldwide will stop their regular Staging® businesses and contribute something by choosing to give of their time, service, and talent to a worthy cause in their community.  Each IAHSP Regional Chapter has chosen a special local project such as:  Women’s shelters, senior centers, schools, homes in distressed situations, children’s centers, and hospitals among others in need.

As we give of our time and our talents to this Special Cause...we welcome sponsors to participate in a special way on this giving day.  We invite the community to share by donating goods, services, or monetary funds to the Washington DC IAHSP, Regional Chapter by contacting the DC IAHSP Ambassador, Sandra Hodge at 703-505-3701 or to the IAHSP Foundation by September 6, 2010.  For more information or visit www.IAHSP.com

The Washington DC IAHSP, along with the IAHSP Foundation, will publicize donations through IAHSP.com and the Washington DC IAHSP chapter website and newsletter.  IAHSP Foundation will publicly thank donors in the StagedHomes.com Newsletter as well as forward product endorsements from ASPs to vendors.  IAHSP Chapter members will test market new products provided by vendors and share feedback on products performance in our newsletter and through our chapter monthly meetings.

The International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP®) Foundation, a charitable foundation of the IAHSP Association, completed another Worldwide Staging Service Week (WWSSW) where all over North America, Accredited Staging Professionals® (ASP®) and Accredited Staging Professional Masters®  (ASPM®) set aside personal business and gave back to their communities.  WWSSW has been happening since 2005 when IAHSP Founder, Barb Schwarz, The Creator of Home Staging®, had the vision to give back to communities and individuals in need, serving from the heart and helping others with the art and creativity of home staging.  Worldwide Staging Service Week is officially the week of September 12-19th with some projects completed in subsequent weeks.

The International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP) is the only international trade association for the Home Staging industry and since 1999 has been setting quality standards of excellence, education and performance for Home Stagers. IAHSP was the first association founded to guide the Home Staging industry, and remains the industry leader for quality assurance and performance standards.

IAHSP is based in education and excellence and all members must adhere to a strict code of ethics for serving their clients and working with colleagues. IAHSP has established local member chapters all over North America that since 2003 have been serving the public by creating awareness of the need for professional Home Staging, and providing professional business networking forums for Home Stagers.

IAHSP hosts the only annual Home Staging Convention and since 2003 has invited ASP Home Stagers from around the world to join together for learning and networking.
