Jazz musician Champian Fulton returns to Maker's in OKC

Pianist/Singer Champian Fulton returns to Maker's Cigar Lounge in Oklahoma City in celebration of her latest CD "The Breeze and I".

Aug. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Champian Fulton (native of Norman, Oklahoma) is fast becoming one of today's brightest young talents in the world of jazz, performing at such venues as The Dupont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, The Blue Note, Birdland and Lincoln Center of New York City.

The 25 year old jazz pianist and singer (often compared to the late Dinah Washington) will be returning to Oklahoma City, OK for a stint of performances at Maker's Cigar Lounge in Bricktown (Downtown Oklahoma City), August 6 and 7 (Friday and Saturday), and August 10 through 14, 2010.

Maker's, (known as Oklahoma City's place for Jazz) is the venue Champian considers her breeding ground for the performance world of jazz, where she began at age 15.
She  will be accompanied by her bassist Yuta Tanaka from New York City and Stephen Fulton (her father) on  drums and flugelhorn.

Ms. Fulton, has recently signed a worldwide distribution deal with Spectra Jazz, a division of Spectra Records for her latest CD  ("The Breeze and I"), and will have copies available for signing.
