July 29, 2010 - PRLog -- The 2011 Hyundai Sonata has arrived at dealerships across the nation and is being well received. For 2011, Hyundai has performed an extensive re-design on the Sonata.   Aesthetic enhancements have been made to  both the exterior and interior of the vehicle, body structure improvements and creature comfort features have been added as well. As with previous Sonata models the safety ratings are  well above average. Front and side curtain airbags as well as traction and stability control, have earned the Hyundai Sonata a place on the IIHS list of "Most Safe" vehicles. The Sonata also received exceptionally high marks in numerous crash tests. In addition to abundant improvements, consumers will also enjoy a very palatable price tag.

New Sonata owners will enjoy more room in the new 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The Sonata wheel base has been lengthened by 3 inches and the cab has been expanded so much that the Sonata is now the leader in its class for passenger room.  Bluetooth and touch-screen navigation also elevate the 2011 Hyundai Sonata to a new level of technologic sophistication. New strut and multi-link rear set up allow the Sonata to pull .82 Gs of lateral acceleration and simulates sports-car like performance.  Standard for the Sonata are 45-series tires with 18-inch rims which add to the superior performance and comfortable ride.

Under the hood the 2011 Hyundai Sonata is powered by a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder, DOHC , direct injection, engine. A 6-speed transmission and dual exhaust lend to the sports car persona. Although impressive for 4 cylinder performance, the Sonata generates an average 200hp and 186 lb.ft of torque.  What the Sonata lacks in power it makes up for in fuel efficiency with an estimated 25 city and 35 highway mpg. Making the 2011 Hyundai Sonata a  new leader in its class for fuel efficiency.

As for the palatable price tag,  the base model price for the Hyundai Sonata is $23,315.  Fully loaded with specialty features and options, the 2011 Sonata is priced at about $26K.  If the price is not enticing enough, consumers should also consider that Hyundai is offering a ten year, 100k mile warranty with the purchase. For those that are looking for an upgrade to luxury, performance and terrific fuel economy the 2011 Hyunda Sonata is worth a second look.
