Haute Puppy couture launches new affordable Ready To Wear and eco-friendly lines to their line-up.

July 29, 2010 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES, CA - July 15, 2010 - Haute Puppy announced today the launch of two new lines of clothing and accessories to their popular couture clothing line for dogs. Most known for their gowns straight off the runway, worn by celebrity dog’s of Miley Cyrus and Melissa George, Haute Puppy is adding affordable ready to wear dresses and harness vests and eco-friendly every day outfits to their line, all made in the USA.

The new Ready to Wear and eco-friendly lines are designed by Haute Puppy founder Jennifer Basulto, dog lover and guardian to several rescue dogs, including Maca, the inspiration for her company. With the same attention to design and detail, Haute Puppy has something for every occasion and every budget.  

“We realize that not every day is lined with a red carpet, but you still want your best friend to look stylish, so we have created these two new lines of cute and fashionable clothing for everyday and the earth conscious consumer,” says Jennifer Basulto, designer for Haute Puppy.

The Ready-to-Wear  line includes fun and funky little dresses and harness vests, made of 100% cotton prints in an array of colors including everyone’s favorite pink and black.

The company is furthering their concern for the environment and a healthier lifestyle for dogs by creating the new “Eco-Puppy” eco-friendly line of harness vests made from 80% repurposed material. Each piece is fashioned into a striking harness vest for smaller dogs made from repurposed materials in various shades of black, navy and pink. All vests are one or two of a kind, preventing those awkward moments of meeting another pup wearing the same outfit.

In the process of designing the new lines, Basulto lost Maca, the little one who was the driving force behind Haute Puppy.  In her honor, Basulto has also developed a line of clothing called "The Maca Collection," two designs created from Maca’s favorite clothing, along with the Maca Pouch, a great way to carry your pup, keeping them warm and close to you.  Part of the proceeds from the sale of every Maca Pouch goes to the River City Chihuahua and Small Dog Rescue, in Missouri.
