KOLD-DRAFT Renovates Facility to Accommodate Manufacturing of New ISB Ice Bagging System

July 29, 2010 - PRLog -- KOLD-DRAFT, manufacturer of high quality, high-performance commercial ice machines, has renovated their 124,000-sq.-ft. headquarters in Erie, PA, including approximately 40,000 sq. ft of space designated for the manufacture of the newly introduced ISB Ice Bagging System. The top-to-bottom refurbishment of the KOLD-DRAFT plant includes upgraded facilities that accommodate equipment, raw materials, and parts for manufacturing.

The new manufacturing area will generate many additional jobs at KOLD-DRAFT resulting from the company's introduction of the ISB Ice Bagging System. The expansion includes all areas of manufacturing, such as production planning, assembly, engineering, quality control, and purchasing.

"We are happy to be creating more job opportunities in the region. We’ve been hiring for multiple positions every month since December, and we will hire a few dozen more for the bagger production line by September 1, 2010," says Marty Gardner, President and Chief Operations Officer of KOLD-DRAFT.
