Paid Participants Sought for Lipitor Study in Greater Phoenix Area

July 28, 2010 - PRLog -- If you are between the ages of 18-70 and take 40mg. of Lipitor for high cholesterol, you may be eligible to participate in a new clinical study. Qualified participants receive all study-related exams, lab tests and study medication at no charge.

Dedicated Phase 1 (DP1) is a clinical research facility serving the greater Phoenix, AZ area. We run the tests that take a pharmaceutical treatment from the category of “investigational drug” in the laboratory to FDA-approved drug in the corner pharmacy. Every investigational drug has to go through four phases of clinical research before it can be marketed openly, and every clinical trial needs dedicated volunteers.

To qualify for this study, the volunteer must commit to 7 consecutive overnight stays at the Dedicated Phase I study campus in central Phoenix, and complete all of the 8 required follow-up outpatient visits. Upon completion of the entire course of the study, each volunteer may be compensated up to $2,700 for time and travel.
