PRLog -- I have a Compaq Pressario V3000. Until now, it is more than 2 years old. The battery is still good. How comes? Yeah, because the last couple months I’ve never used it anymore. I took it out from the notebook. I plug the notebook in directly to the power supply (electricity)
. This trick is only applied if you assure electricity supply is free from extinction. Connect through the stabilizer if required. Why should we remove it? First reason is to save your battery life. Because the battery life depends on frequent charging, not timely basis. The second one is battery generate heat during operation. The heat generated will spread into another parts inside. The third one is it will prevent you from battery explosion due to overheating or product problem. And the last, the important one is please do fully charging before remove it. And if you do this practice in the long period of time, please install it again into the notebook and fully recharge it at least every month. I have been practicing this also to my Acer notebook. I hope this will work to yours.
