SACRAMENTO, Calif. July 21, 2010 – Keith Springer, President of Capital Financial Advisory Services discusses the U.S. economy, stocks and strategy with Pimm Fox.

“Why so Bearish? Why so gloomy?” asks Pimm Fox live on Bloomberg Television's "Taking Stock”.

Springer replies, “There is simply no aggregate demand in economy. No spending because the baby boomers are saving. GDP will come in much lower than expected. The U.S. can’t grow without demand.”

“The developed world is in an aging population stage. The emerging markets that are currently supporting U.S. global companies, like Coca Cola, won’t expand into the large borrowing markets that we need in order to support the saving markets.”

Springer warns, “The market is emotional and reacts accordingly.”

“Where are the opportunities?” Questions Fox.

“Bonds,” Springer replies, “deflation is short term, until we get to inflation. The government is going to continue to print money as fast as they can. However, they can’t create inflation as fast as assets are being destroyed.”
