The World’s Greatest Seattle Walking Tour Issues a Challenge to the Puget Sound Region

July 21, 2010 - PRLog -- SEATTLE, JULY 21, 2010 – In an effort to both stem the negative perceptions of local tours and to educate the fine citizenry of the Puget Sound region, The World’s Greatest Seattle Walking Tour (www.theseattlewalkingtour.com) issues the following challenge:

Any full-paying participant of the tour who lives in the Seattle metro area will be offered a full refund, as well as a $5 peace offering, if he/she does not find the tour either educational or enjoyable.

“The citizens of the country’s most educated city don’t actually know that much about the city they call home.  That is my belief,” said Jai Ferguson, owner and head speaking guy at The World’s Greatest Seattle Walking Tour.

About The World’s Greatest Seattle Walking Tour
The World’s Greatest Seattle Walking Tour is a two hour stroll through downtown, Belltown and Pioneer Square that discusses the people, places and events that have transformed Seattle from fledgling backwater outpost to burgeoning 21st century metropolis.  The tour begins daily Monday through Thursday starting at 11 am and twice daily Friday through Sunday starting at 10:30 am and 2 pm.  Willing participants simply show up to the corner of 4th Avenue and Pine Street up to 15 minutes prior to the designated tour start time and look for the guide holding a sign.  The tour is roughly 1.5 miles long, mostly flat or downhill, and takes two hours.  Cost is $10, cash only.  www.theseattlewalkingtour.com.

To claim your refund, simply tell the tour guide at the end of the tour that you found the tour neither educational nor enjoyable.  There will be no Fast Times at Ridgemont High reaction.  This is a no questions asked policy.
