July 19, 2010 - PRLog -- LordsPlay's core team has produced over 50 titles. Prior to 2009 it primarily worked with international engineering resources. Today the company uses in-house engineering staff to build as well as produce titles.
“We are excited to join Game Karmic, they understand the power of branded content and decentralized international game development where we’ve focused our efforts for many years,” said LordsPlay CEO Kimit Shah.
LordsPlay.com - the upcoming MMO will be based on both google technology. (google maps and app engine).
"We are very excited to see this partnership grow" said Game Karmic's CEO, Satya Murthy, "we decided ti invest heavily in India and Middle East - where there is a tremendous potential for growth" he added.
LordsPlay.com already has over 2 million hits every week before its closed its open beta 3 months ago. The new revision will be localized and unlike other content distributors in Asia and Middle East - the content will be made for and by people from here. Most Chinese studios dump games made in China and Korea - the characters dont match the local culture. "We plan to change that" added Srini, co-founder of Game Karmic
