July 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Escanaba, MI – Brute Industries, Inc., manufacturer of Race Ramps, has received the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association Best New Product Award. Race Ramps Show Cribs took the prize in the Paint and Car Care Products category. The award was accepted by Race Ramps President, Richard Heinz, at the Goodguys 13th PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. Show Cribs were chosen by show attendees from a variety of ground breaking new products entered by over 60 aftermarket and street rod performance companies.

Race Ramps President Richard Heinz states: “We are very pleased our Show Cribs were recognized for this award by show attendees. Show Cribs were developed after requests by people such as Goodguys members, who wanted a safe, stylish and lightweight solution to raise their vehicle for show display. Show Cribs cradle the tires 12” off the ground, and their tapered design lends a dramatic air to any vehicle display. A set of four cribs will support a 6,000-pound vehicle, and yet they weigh only 7 to 9 pounds each. Show Cribs have a flat bottom with a wide footprint - so they can be safely used on hard or soft surfaces like grass, sand, or pavement - without sinking. In keeping with the needs of rod and custom owners, we offer custom options including screening of our customer’s logos, as well as provision of cribs in custom colors and heights.”
