This article aims to present to you a brief, nuts and bolts appraisal of YOU, as a person before you start to trade (the broker link is at the bottom of the page).

So before you rush out to  setup the account at another brokerage firm ask yourself the following question. What am I doing? Where am i going with my trading? So be careful.  $99 off the shelf robots arent going to make you a million. To be honest, having been in the markets 20 years ... it just aint that simple.  Its an industry of books, courses, tapes, videos etc which at the end of the day dont make CONSISTANT, RELIABLE and SAFE and PROFITABLE trading results. You need to think LONG TERM. Not short term FIX.

So before you sign the wire transfer form to rush and send in money, to rush and download metatrader from the brokers demo platform and rush to trade just have a think what you are going to do.  Take time, breath...  

Forget that NEW COURSE, NEW BOOK, NEW ROBOT, NEW TRADING SYSTEM... NEW THIS AND THAT.... sound familiar ?? even to the point of having tried 5 broker accounts in the hope that the next broker is going to be any better ...that the data feed doesnt drop out, theres no gaps in the charts, that the service is better, that the EAs might trade differently (and believe me Ive seen EAs on one broker trading side by side on another broker and one did 2 trades and another 27 trades in the same currency pair).. The list goes on ... But at the end of the day .. most brokers offer the same thing! .. most offer MT, help desk, price quotes  ..but what there isnt for you is to support you through your trading to make you money!  In fact, some brokers have a DEALING DESK that is setup to trade AGAINST YOU so that you LOSE MONEY.  The point of differentiation is YOU .. You need to work on you.
 

Whats the solution?

Well, to be honest, if you dont have a road map ... you will fail.  Quite simply you can kiss your money goodbye. I've been around 20 years in this market and know the product lifecyle. Ive been told by some insiders that some accounts last only 6 weeks... the money all gone! Pfft .. hence, this is why im writing this article to at least show you that there are solutions to this common merry go round afflicting 85-90% of people that enter into the market.

FIRST OF ALL - You need a road map.  That road map is a system.  
You need to have a strong, reliable and consistant system that trades day in and day out.  
SECOND: You need to treat this as a business.  I would prefer it if you were a full time trader  that would be getting up every morning and turning on the screens and metatrader platform and indicators as if they were going to work like THEY USED TO DO working in a J.O.B.
