I have used both subliminal messaging and hypnosis cds for many many years, and here are some of my thoughts on both the positives and negatives of each

Hypnosis: A very classic form of personal development, which is well documented as well as well accepted and proven. It is often fast acting and can give a lasting change - perhaps even bringing results after just a couple of sessions. I do enjoy hypnosis, and although some people experience internal change quite quickly I personally find that it takes me at least a few sessions, and it isn't always practical to sit in a trance for 30 minutes a day if you lead a busy lifestyle, but some people, especially some of my friends, do react very well to hypnosis, so if you have time and money on your side it can be an amazing tool

Subliminal Messages: being used more and more over recent years and is really gaining credibility because of the success stories and people sharing their experiences around the Internet - it seems everyone is trying them, and some people are getting some amazing benefits. It works similarly to hypnosis by sending positive suggestions straight to your subconscious mind to make a change to your beliefs and patterns of behavior. The main advantage is that you can listen to them at anytime, and anywhere. You don't enter a trance with subliminals, so you can listen while you study, work, exercise, and of course while you sleep.. On the down side the changes can be more gradual, as the subliminal statements gradually grow in your mind, but you are still talking about seeing some change within a week or two which isn't so bad.

When it comes down to it there isn't really a single "best method", it is really about personal choice. What works really well for some people could not be so great for someone else. We all We all vary in the different ways we store and process information.

Why don't you try subliminal messages for yourself? You can find out more about subliminal messaging at SubliminalAnalysis.com. This way you can experience it for yourself, and you can see how you react personally and if it is right for you or not.
