PRLog -- Dita Von Teese did not invent burlesque. She may be leading the burlesque revival, but the Art of Tease has been around for a very long time. It started in the 1800s theatres and music halls of the nineteenth century, turning the art of the tease into the perfumed, scented, evocative striptease! Heather Sweet, better known as Dita Von Teese. Icon of style & fashion Dita inspired a lot of peoples like Elton John, Marc Jacobs, Christian Louboutin and many fashion designers. The popular dancer was trained to be a ballerina, but when she was fifteen she worked as a salesgirl in a lingerie stop. When she was nineteen she began her career in a local strip club. Dita later became a fetish model, and finally a burlesque star, and was featured in Playboy Magazine seventeen times. She is famous for her "girl in the glass" performance, where she baths in a champagne filled crystal-clear glass bathtub, and also for starring the fetish videos "Naked and Helpless," "Bound in Stockings" and in "Tickle Party: Volume 2." From 2005 to 2007, she was married to rock star Marilyn Manson. Prior to their break-up, they lived in Laurel Canyon with their four Devon Rex cats and two dachshunds dogs. Paris October 16, 2006 –Dita was the first guest star in history of the legendary CrazyHorse de Paris! Keeping in line with the Crazy Horse tradition and as homage to its 1950s star Candida - - who lathered and bathed herself on the Crazy Horse stage more then1500 times! Dita was performing her famouse Bathtub act. She doesn't really hide anything from the public, from her past 'adult video experiences' to her breast implants, and she actually talks in interviews about how she hates when celebrities don't open up about their surgeries. So I would think if she did have a rib removed, that she would have said something in an interview about it by now.
