By: Boxing News Boxing News celebrated its 100th anniversary in September last year and we plan to be around for the next 100 too. With this in mind, they are currently planning a major relaunch of their website, http://www.boxingnewsonline.net. The team only relaunched the site two years ago but as both the volume and quality of the content featured within their online arm has increased exponentially the company feel the need to offer a front-end design and functionality to match. As alluded to, the content on the site has already begun to progress. http://www.boxingnewsonline.net currently features a blog or column for every weekday – the long-running Living The Dream on a Monday which records the life of a BN reporter, the brand new Blood on my Glasses review of the boxing weekend on a Tuesday, Craig Birch's Midlands Round-up on a Wednesday, Coldwell's Corner, featuring the expert views of trainer, manager and promoter Dave Coldwell on Thursday and the week is rounded off by John Dennen's Club Class in which the intrepid young writer focuses on a different amateur boxing club each week. If all that opinion is not enough, BN have just reached a deal with recently retired former European light-middleweight champion Jamie Moore to begin his new column, analysing a specific fighter every week, on the site. The site is also becoming far more prolific on the exclusive interviews front. Just this week, Boxing News Online spoke to Commonwealth super-middleweight champion George Groves, double light-welterweight 'world' champ Devon Alexander and Leicester legend Chris Pyatt. Many more big names are lined up for the coming weeks and months. So the future is bright for Boxing News, and will only get brighter when the site is relaunched. End
