| Hotelsnearto Answers Specific Visitor Information NeedNew city information site launched to answer consumer demand for more targeted online information

It will be rolled out across other major UK and European cities over the coming months. Tina Judic, Managing Director of Artemis8, says: “hotelsnearto fills a gap in the market for specific hotel information related to requested locations, for example ‘hotels near to Trafalgar Square’. It therefore assists travellers to make an informed decision about booking accommodation that is ‘near to’ where they need to be and which suits their planned itinerary, instead of trawling through individual hotel chain or aggregate sites. Up until now, the search space has not been able to facilitate this kind of specific visitor request and our plan is to therefore apply the template to a whole collection of other cities over the coming year.” Hotels which are in the vicinity of a required location are highlighted on a simple Google Maps mash-up. Visitors can then click on their preferred options to obtain further information about the hotel, read latest TripAdvisor reviews plus use a booking link back to the hotels.com site to gain best rates. In addition, information about nearby attractions such as museums, theatres and events, including their proximity to each hotel, are also clearly listed to assist travellers with their itinerary options. Tina adds: “The idea came about following one of the Artemis8 team visiting New York and finding it difficult to locate a hotel which was near to where they needed to be during the day.
