By: Nobel Charitable Trust, WeForest
June 22, 2010 - PRLog -- How many people actually know that forests help make clouds? More forests could halt climate change while ending fuel-poverty !
WeForest projects reserve a significant percentage of its planting areas for agro-forestry (=for human use), planted around the forest and intended to directly and quickly benefit the local population with groves of fruit, fuel, and construction trees. The balance is deep reforestation, designed to restore the natural environment of the region.
WeForest is creating a movement to restore half of the degraded land around the world. The Nobel Charitable Trust promotes and encourages the development and use of alternative, renewable and sustainable energy-sources. The two organizations have joined forces today to develop and promote renewable & sustainable energy in ecosystem restoration around the world.
