Recalibrate your touchscreen

Sometimes the touchscreen on the DS can go wonky and gets less responsive so it needs to be recalibrated.

First you need to clean the screen up by giving it a good wipe. Next use the stylus to click on the settings icon to recalibrate the screen following the on-screen instructions.

If that doesn't work, press down on the touchscreen to make a gap between the screen and the casing, making sure not to break the screen. Then try to clean in the gap with the toothbrush all around the edge. Recalibrate again.

Test that it's worked by firing up Pictochat and paint the screen black. If you can do that easily and in a short time, you have been successful.
