June 20, 2010 - PRLog -- If you own an Xbox, you should know that everyone who uses it likes it very well. It's incredible how the graphics are with these games. It's sad that with all he wonderful things about the Xbox 360 it also has its share of problems. If you own an Xbox 360, you more than likely have had issues with red light errors. When you Xbox 360 won't read games, it is extremely frustrating. All Xbox users have experienced this at some point. Everyone wonders what causes it.

Your Xbox most likely won't read your games because of too much heat. It probably is because of the fact that so many devices are packed into that small console which does not give air much room to move around in. Once in a while, the CPU and the GPU can be affected; and what you have is a frozen Xbox 360. Around the DVD drive? Then it makes sense that the problem is somewhere around there.

Shutting off your Xbox and letting it cool down is the quick fix. Although annoying when you want to play, it does work. This really isn't a fix because it will happen again. To be permanent would mean constant temperature control.

A Microsoft repair center is the way to go if you still have a warranty when your Xbox 360 won't read games. You'll have to wait, but it will be fixed. A bit of education and you could be the repair whiz. Some guides are available and have good video tutorials to help you solve your overheating problem. If you have a guide, you will still need skills to work on electronics. Do you know someone that might be an electronic technician? They could help you.
If you feel uncomfortable tackling the job yourself, there is another option. There are Microsoft repair centers that can get it fixed. It will take about eight weeks and $140 to get it done. It might be painful to have to give up your Xbox for a time, what other options do you have if it won't work? Take the bull by the horns and have your Xbox 360 repaired by Microsoft. You might have to rent a system for a spell until you get it back.

Not everyone wants to pay Microsoft and wait on them for up to eight weeks. Self repairs can be done professionally by using the xbox 360 3 red lights Fix Guide.
