Are you Friends With Success?

June 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Everyone in their right mind needs support with success, especially when your starting something new, you're scared, you're frail, naive and can easily get lost with no one to turn to. I believe in success, and I believe in the potential of any one person achieving their ideal freedom if they put their mind to it.

But one thing that I've noticed, and have experienced for myself, is when a person gets excited and works to propel their business forward...they will tend to do it backwards. They become so gung ho, (which is good) they believe that they can be a one man show (which is bad), and build from the ground up, and, and, and, and so on and so fourth.

There's a problem with this way of thinking. Success comes with Support. You can create the best content, the best materials, the best whatever... but if your not 'driving traffic' if you have no 'support system' then your not going anywhere, and your business is going to crumble. One of the best ways to get traffic is by making friends, and giving them support - so in turn they will support you. This means commenting on their pages, talking to them, commenting on their articles, sending them thank you notes... whatever the case may be, its all about being nice!

I know particularly in the blog community they like to send off awards, and I also know of a great forum on the blogger network called the blogfrog that is keen on building relationships and getting your content out there. Its a great way of building that support system, that network with success.

As for finding a community, a network that you can start building with ease; start getting on forums and posting replies to peoples concerns and comments, many people love twitter for communication and network building, I personally love Facebook. There are so many options that are open and available for you to meet and communicate with people! It's like mom says: if you just get out there and be nice to people and share, then they'll be nice and share with you right back! And look at that, all of a sudden your building relationships with success. :)

Heed my Words of Warning: Do not take the Lone Ranger approach, and Do not be Spammy! There is nothing worse than having someone shove a product in your face... No I don't want it, or to be hauled in by a 'social collector'. Someone who just wants to bring you in - to sell you. Like a friggin' walking infomercial....and I've done that - its not all that its cracked up to be!

I've heard recently that an email address is one of the most valuable assets that a person has. Wanna know why? Because it CONSTANT communication with your client/customer/friend/prospect.

The money is in the list...The money is in the list! They say!

Once you've built your solid network, people are going to start wanting to get to know you better, and get to know what your all about - they will 'opt-in' to your list. Like I said before communication and value is the foundation of building your subscriber list with success... but if you're just looking out for yourself, and your not really providing any real value - who wants to be spammed by junk all day even if it is a real person on the otherside!

Besides on that note, if you're not showing any interest in your prospect - they're going to assume you're a scam artist! Take an interest and give value! If you've taken no real interest in me, why should I take interest in you? Building with Success first comes with Communication!

Understand the utmost importance of relationship building, fundamentally it is the main ingredient to a achieving a happy heart, and a happy online business with success. :)
