Better Marriage and Healthy Relationships Seminar Scheduled for Orlando

June 18, 2010 - PRLog -- A seminar to improve marriages and build healthy relationships, scheduled for July 9th, will help men and women better understand their relationship desires. Dr. Mark Laaser, Christian marriage counselor, is speaking at this one night seminar. Dr. Laaser is an internationally known author and speaker who operates a relationship counseling center in Minnesota; his years of counseling experience have helped him develop and author The Seven Desires of Every Heart, a book speaking to the necessary elements in healthy relationships. Dr. Laaser helps couples as well as individuals better understand their relationship needs with this seminar.

L.I.F.E. Ministries is hosting this event in conjunction with its second annual sexual addiction recovery conference – Walk in the Light 2010. “Dr. Laaser’s message on healthy intimacy is not limited to the specific audience that our ministry reaches, so we are opening this one night seminar to the public in hopes of strengthening marriages. We welcome all couples and individuals that can attend,” comments Johna Hale, Executive Director of L.I.F.E. Ministries International and counselor at Discovery Church in Orlando.

The Walk in the Light conference is a two day event that includes topics and workshops for anyone who is interested in sexual addiction recovery - concerned persons, support group members, group facilitators, pastors and counselors. This two day event will be held at Center Pointe Church in Orlando, Florida starting July 9th.

Dr. Mark Laaser will be the guest speaker Friday night, July 9th. Dr. Laaser is the foremost Christian authority on sexual addiction recovery, he will deliver this special presentation on “The 7 Desires of Every Heart”, based on his book with the same title. Dr. Laaser studied under Dr. Patrick Carnes, a secular expert in the field of sexual addiction recovery. Dr. Laaser and his wife, Debbie, hold intensive workshops at their facility in Minnesota and he travels internationally as a speaker on the subject.
