tebu-bio launches new ExpressiX cell line engineering service
tebu-bio has developped a new service entitled ExpressiX, bringing researchers the opportunity to obtain stable, ready-to-use cell lines with controlled, targeted gene integration.

ExpressiX is based on a targeted DNA integration system and can be developed for polyclonal or monoclonal cell lines. Where SilenciX efficiently and stably silences the gene of interest, ExpressiX is a custom service to stably over-express a particular gene of interest. As featured with SilenciX, there are no off target effects either with ExpressiX and expression stability is maintained for over 40 passages. The process is simple, only requiring the researcher to provide a plasmid containing cDNA of interest, from which tebu-bio Laboratories generates stable over-expression of a gene of interest in CHO-K1 cell lines. Further options such as cloning, or use of cell lines other than CHO-K1 can also be requested allowing full project customisation.
