tebu-bio becomes Stemgent-Asterand's Exclusive New European Distributor for Stem Cell Reagents

LE PERRAY-EN-YVELINES, France - July 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Stemgent-Asterand (http://www.stemgent.com), an innovative provider of  cellular reprogramming reagents and iPS cell reprogramming services, and tebu-bio (http://www.tebu-bio.com) are pleased to announce their new sales and marketing agreement effective July 15, 2014. tebu-bio is a leading European distributor of life science reagents with an extensive network of offices and sales representatives spanning 9 countries.

Under the terms of the agreement, tebu-bio will provide sales, marketing and application support of Stemgent-Asterand’s products in Europe. Through the partnership, tebu-bio will expand the reach of Stemgent-Asterand’s stem cell reprogramming reagents, small molecules, antibodies, cytokines and media to researchers across the whole of Europe, through their local offices in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom and Ireland. The agreement will expand Stemgent-Asterand’s global network.

Stemgent-Asterand’s Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Ferrigno, stressed how important the European market is to Stemgent-Asterand’s stem cell reagent business. “We selected tebu-bio for their ability to provide a high level of technical and application support to European stem cell researchers. tebu-bio’s well established research customer base, and presence with sales offices throughout Europe will help Stemgent-Asterand gain rapid market presence in Europe, one of the largest regions of the world for iPSC Research Labs.”
