"If you are one of those who are looking for part-time, work-from-home opportunities to earn extra cash on your free time, you can actually find the internet as a great source. In fact, home-based businesses and jobs have become popular these days and outsourcing has even grown popular among employers and companies too, thus you can actually take advantage of these to make extra money at home.

If you know how to find them online, you will find great opportunities to make money in your free time at the comforts of your own home. The internet is a vast network and with many individuals and companies having access to the internet, jobs from many forms and types can also be found online - and the challenge lies on how to find them.

If you have an extra time to spare on part-time, work-from-home opportunities, here are a few tips that might help you find them online.

- Start looking for them in reliable websites. With the thousands of job sites online, you have to make sure that you are looking for a job on the right places. Go for those well-known job sites. Read reviews and make sure you read feedback from those who have been in the site. You can research them online and find out if the site is reliable or not.

- Find job listings and job sites that offer updated lists. Of course, an updated job listing allows you to be one of the few who can beat competition by applying early. You have to avoid sites that have obsolete job postings as these jobs may have already been filled.

- Find them at the employer or company's website. If you know some of the companies and employers that would most likely be in need of your expertise and skills, you can also find their website online and search for any part-time work-from-home opportunities they are offering.

- Be extra careful on posting your resumes online. Especially if you are looking for part-time, work-from-home opportunities and you don't want your employer to know, make sure you are not indiscriminately posting your resumes online. Of course, you have to protect yourself from identity theft as well. You should protect your personal information such as your home phone, your e-mail address, your exact address and social security number from the unscrupulous individuals online who may take advantage of these information.

Although there are millions of part-time jobs you can find online, beware of those that are too good to be true, as they may be fraudulent. Others may even require you to pay before being hired, and of course, these are signs that you cannot completely trust these job offerings.

Even before you apply for any part-time jobs online, make sure you have your resume ready, and do not stick with just a copy of your resume. Present your resume in different styles that will highlight the essential skills you have that match the job offering. If you are applying for a part-time web developer position, then you have to present your resume that highlights your experience as a web designer. You have to present your resume according to what the employer wants to see first." (ezinearticles)
