Bolton printer, Craftprint, is 30

June 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Craftprint has 10 employees and provides design, digital and lithographic printing, and promotional gifts, to a wide range of businesses across Bolton, Greater Manchester and the North West.

The company is planning to organise a number of events and initiatives during 2010 to mark the anniversary.

Andrew Tait, Managing Director, said: “It’s no small achievement – for any business - to have been in business for 30 years, never mind one in the printing industry which has seen enormous changes in technology and customer expectations over the last three decades.”

“Over the years, we have moved from being just a local printer for local businesses to a regional printer serving customers such as accountancy and law firms, to universities and the NHS, and a broad spectrum of SMEs across the North West.”

Andrew’s dad, Jack, started the business in 1980 after having completed a printing apprenticeship in Belfast and then working for a number of printers here in the North West. He retired in 2005 and Andrew took over. Andrew’s brother, Martin, also works in the business and looks after production, making Craftprint a family-run business.

Andrew added: “Over the years, we have bought a number of other printers and we have moved premises several times in order to accommodate our growing customer list. Further acquisitions cannot be ruled.”
