June 8, 2010 - PRLog -- OTTER LLC owner, Erik Wood, attended a press conference in Sacramento last week to join Impact Teen Drivers, California State School Superintendent Jack O’Connell and the California Highway Patrol in a stand against distracted driving.  “This was an opportunity for OTTER to show how it can complement the efforts of the legislature and public safety organizations by offering a tool to the end user that empowers them to safely manage their texting habits", said Mr. Wood.

“We believe that OTTER is an affordable solution that will meet teens’ need for immediate communication in their social environment while eliminating the distraction that can arise even from the notification of an incoming text or phone call,” said Dr. Kelly Browning, Executive Director of Impact Teen Drivers.

ABOUT OTTER LLC:
OTTER LLC is a Seattle-based software company whose concept for OTTER was born from a dramatic near miss of the owner's 3 year old daughter by a driver who was pre occupied with texting. For more information please go to: http://www.OTTERapp.com
