Las Vegas Safe Patient Handling System Seminar a Huge Success!

June 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Ergo-PATH System, LLC is proud to annouce that its first  "Safe Patient Handling (SPH):  How to Turn a Struggling Program into a Successful and Sustainable System" seminar in Las Vegas 2 weeks ago was very successful based upon the feedback they received from the attendees.  Jill Kelby, President and CEO, stated that she was "very satisfied with the comments we received from the attendees.  We received very positive comments not only at the end of the seminar but at the end of the first two days as well."  

The purpose of the seminar was to provide attendees with a new thought process and model for SPH that is based upon systems and system thinking, human factors and ergonomics.  By introducing and focusing on SPH as a system throughout the seminar attendees were able to see and understand how and why SPH "programs" frequent fail to meet their goals over the long term.  They came away having strategies, tactics and evidenced-based tools to take back to their facilities to use immediately.
