Complete Athlete Foundation For Kids Program Launch

May 29, 2010 - PRLog -- CAFFK is a non profit 501C organization that empowers youth by offering life skills and athletic instructional training by professional coaches and players. The first launch of this exciting new program will be implemented in South LA at ReachBack LA youth center. The CAFFK offers free volleyball training that will be held every Wednesday from 4 to 6PM. Training sessions are currently being offered to girls ages 10-18. Reachback LA is located at 1773 E Century Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90002.

Children that attend the training sessions will be grouped in teams to compete for trophies and other prizes. Lara Blume, founder of Team Up World, addresses the fact that "Volleyball is not prevalent in the inner city and Complete Athlete Foundation for Kids would like to be a part of the solution to this major need.” Lara says that "Education and sports go hand in hand, our players need dedication and discipline."

CAFFK plans to soon be in every TCA city offering free programs to inner city youth. There are many ways to help CAFFK flourish, and to give assistance to this effective volleyball training and life skills program. Our youth athletes need old shoes, knee pads, volleyballs, nets, etc., and any donations can be sent to 220 Newport Center Drive 11-102, Newport Beach, CA 92660. In addition, CAFFK is preparing for it's annual fundraiser, to increase awareness and funding for the foundation. Dates for this annual event are to be announced.
