Huangshan City, called Huizhou in ancient times, lies at the southernmost end of Anhui, and is adjacent to Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces. The city is famous for the Yellow Mountain, the prototype of “Hallelujah Mountains” in the film Avatar.

It has under its jurisdiction over three districts ( Tunxi, Huizhou and Huangshan), four counties (Shexian, Yixian, Xiuning and Qimen) and the Huangshan Mountain Scenic Area. With a population of approximately 1.48 million people, it is a new international tourism city, a city with ecological mountains and rivers, and a cultural city full of glamour.
