RE/MAX Metro Chicago Real Estate Network's Balloon Will Visit Buckner and McCall Schools in Waukegan

May 25, 2010 - PRLog -- The RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network has announced that the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon and its crew will visit Carman Buckner and H.R. McCall elementary schools in Waukegan, Ill., in late May and early June to present an interactive educational program developed by the RE/MAX network.  

The confirmed balloon visits will take place at:
•   Carman Buckner Elementary School, 520 Helmholz Ave., at 9 a.m. on May 28.
•   H.R. McCall Elementary School, 3215 N. McAree Road, at 9:30 a.m. on June 1.

The program presented will teach students about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions.  The RE/MAX balloon will visit more than 40 schools this spring in northern Illinois.

At both schools the program will be presented outdoors on the school grounds, weather permitting, but can be moved indoors if required.  During outdoor programs, the balloon envelope will be inflated with hot air to its full 75-foot height if conditions allow.  When the program is presented indoors, the envelope is inflated with cold air and students have the opportunity to walk inside it.
