Stadium Subs & Cream to Take the Place of Four Maggie Moos Locations

May 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Tulsa's four area Maggie Moos franchise locations are not going away.  Rather, longtime owner/operator Mary-Ann Brinton is transforming these locations into a non-franchised, fast and casual concept called Stadium Subs & Cream.  In addition to offering premium ice cream and cakes that you have always loved, Stadium Subs & Cream will serve healthier fare such as fat-free/sugar-free ice-cream, smoothies and ice-cream cakes all at a lower price.  They will also offer meals for every appetite including toasted sandwiches, perfectly portioned mini-subs, homemade soups and spuds in an environment with a small town feel showcasing Oklahoma's prize stadiums and sports teams.

By opening Stadium Subs & Cream, three needs will be filled.  There will be healthier alternatives, lower prices and more options year round.  "The first need was that customers wanted a healthier substitute to regular ice-cream.  The next dilemma was that the ice-cream business can be far less productive in winter months due to cold weather," Brinton stated.  Lastly, prices were so high that many consumers would opt for more reasonably priced ice-cream stores.   After Brinton realized that she was unable to accommodate the popular demand of customers while under the restraints of a franchise agreement, she decided to explore her options.  This is where she came up with the inspiration for Stadium Subs & Cream.

Stadium Subs & Cream serves four Tulsa area locations including 103rd & Memorial, 61st & Yale and 71st & Memorial in Tulsa, and 121st East Avenue in Owasso.  All locations offer full menus except the 61st & Yale location which offers a partial menu featuring healthy ice-cream options, smoothies, cakes and more.  Starting in June, at all locations, most items off the main ice cream menu will be reduced up to one dollar including cups, cones, shakes and smoothies.
