Best Western Premier OPAL Hotel wins the Best Western International Quality Award

May 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Member of the group of independent hotels Paris Inn, the Best Western Premier Opal has just been rewarded for the second consecutive year by the Best Western International Quality Award. This prestigious award, has been given, it is rare enough to be underligned, with a score of 1000 points in 1000!

To take the full measure of this performance, remember that only two hotels in Europe had reached such a score so far...

The OPAL has obviously an unanimous support, and positions itself as a unique hotel. Located in the « Golden Triangle” of Parisian luxury, connecting Place de la Madeleine, Place Vendome and the Opera Garnier, this boutique hotel is a wonderful setting for a relaxing  journey in Paris.

In 2007, a major project of renovation and decoration was led by the designer Valerie Manoïl and her agency I Trema. The OPAL has completely revamped, and offers since its reopening in September 2007 a contemporary and elegant atmosphere made of vermilion, black and white coloured harmonies.

A great central fireplace, Murano vases, lamps designed by Stark, tables by Patricia Urquiola for Kartell, just next to an old library: Valerie Manoïl boldly mixes styles and periods, for a result full of charm and character.

Light is another essential element of the atmosphere. Swaying along the central staircase, a light sculpture by Octavio Amado leads to the floors, and accompanies the client to his room. For the Argentine light designer, "Light is a primary source of well-being and pleasure." It is omnipresent in the hotel, even in the suites which are equipped with balneo- and chromotherapy bathtubs.

"This prize is a great pride for all of us" said Nathalie Dupont, the manager of the hotel. "It is a reward for the whole team, whom constancy and quality are a leitmotive."
